With applications in healthcare, food safety and research, the device departs from the conventional appearance of medical devices, combining curved and straight-line geometry for an elegant aesthetic. The 5-inch screen and natural tilt without a stand align with ergonomic principles, and the matt-grey and matt-black colours harmonise with various environments.

Inspired by the design principles of consumer electronics, the Biolum Portable ATP Monitoring System Pro is more reminiscent of a smartphone than a measuring device.
