Bow To Wow

BOW TO WOW is a blood donation service for dog companions, which seeks to alleviate problems encountered by existing blood transfusion systems for dogs. It promotes recognition and encourages blood donation by large companion dogs. By informing and educating the public about the situation and its ethical issues, we aim to replace the system of using blood-transfusion-only dogs with voluntary participation of dog owners. In addition, the service hopes to make it easier to get blood transfusion supply. The designers implemented the ideas into a website, a mobile platform, and 'thank you' packages. The website informs, educates and raises awareness about the issue while introducing BOW TO WOW's services. The public can also apply for blood donation and share the campaign with other people. The mobile application allows dog owners to exchange information and register their pets as blood donors. It also manages the blood donation cycles regionally and creates a platform for a community of dog owners. Finally, a dog that has successfully donated blood receives an appreciation package containing a certificate, a badge, nutritional snacks, supplements and brochures.
