The Best Metro Station in China 2018–2019

The search for the best metro station in China is a large-scale national campaign, co-sponsored by design magazines and the Shanghai Creative Design Workers Association. The key visual for the event uses a selected city’s landmark buildings and integrates the architectural forms in a geometric, nested composition. The metropolitan theme is interpreted in a distinctive black-and-white scheme, offset by yellow accents. By showing ingenious railway constructions, the illustrations highlight the connecting function of rail transit in urban areas.
