The unusual fair appearance of the Landesverband Galerien in Baden-Württemberg (Galleries Association of Baden-Württemberg) at the art Karlsruhe 2011 displayed the varied works of the galleries in a poignant way, intending to stir interest as well as enjoyment in art. A simple balloon became a vehicle of the core message, while a speech bubble in the logo showed the clear statement “artverknallt” – “ich auch!” (“a crush on art” – “me too!”). In the spirit of an interactive installation, the walls were covered with balloons, which visitors could burst with pointy pencils.

Red Dot
