Gyeonggi Province

Gyeonggi-do is the province surrounding Korea’s capital Seoul, a region characterised by rapid change and growth. The logo is derived from the first consonant characters of each syllable. The dynamic image of the province is expressed in the upper part, where the characters move forward along a straight path. The lower part, with its harmonious arrangement of lines and curves, symbolises flexibility. The colour green stands for nature, eco-friendliness and peace, while blue is an expression of trust and future value.
