Oval Coat

Oval Coat is an origami structure-based raincoat that allows the user to neatly fold the soaked raincoat in less than ten seconds with a gentle shake. The origami structure allows the raincoat to fold down 60% more compactly than standard raincoats. The origami fold lines also allow the design to control how and where the raindrops are expelled, redirecting the flow of water from the neck and chest towards the back, away from the shoes. Oval Coat is made of 100% polyester fabric with a TPU coating that gives the surface a lotus effect, expelling heat and moisture from the inside along with the water. Putting on the raincoat is similar to wearing a cloak, and taking it off is even easier: simply unzip and gently shake vertically for five seconds before folding the coat away. With a super spacious volume, the user can carry a backpack under the raincoat without affecting movement.
