The New Oriental Art in Westernised Chinese Style

返回 Download

The concept for this interior design bridges the gap between the old Chinese notion of a “spherical heaven and a flat earth” and westernised Chinese style. Three aspects are of particular importance: proportions, equilibrium and the relationship of the elements to one another. The minimalist look is characterised by traditional, oriental details such as the see-through room dividers made of individual slats. Yet the design also integrates the restrained luxury of a Western lounge.

The carefully considered fusion of Eastern tradition and Western modernism gives this interior design a very expressive and distinctive look.
