Sweet Potato Living

For their bachelor’s degree, five students of the Visual Communication Design department of China University of Technology focused on the sweet potato wine industry in Taiwan. They created fascinating storytelling for a brand that fuses tradition with modern aesthetics. Woodcut-like illustrations on the bottle labels visualise different growing environments. The labels are complemented by contour-punched paper tags on the bottle neck that depict agricultural workers and their tools. Packaged in an elegant folding box, the product not only appeals on a visual and tactile level but also displays a sustainable design concept.
