This book is the outcome of an international, interdisciplinary design process with 23 co-authors and more than 80 online contributors. As a specialist book on the emerging field of service design it considers the reading experience a designable process. Thus, this publication presents itself as a service and focuses on the intangible service behind the mere object. The classic specialist book is complemented by an original pictographic language and a dramaturgy that is closely interwoven with the content.
