General information

Non-awarded products can be collected at the time and address above. 

Award-winning products will be stored on site until the start of the Special Exhibition and will then be displayed at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen for one year. 

If your product is not exhibited as a physical product, but as a poster or film, collection is scheduled for the end of September 2024. We will be contacting you to inform you in advance.

PI code (Product Identification Code) / Reference number

Please always name your PI code as reference for the collection. We can only identify and hand over your product after naming the PI code. Therefore, please forward this information to your logistics partner and name the PI code on all relevant documents.
The PI code is structured as follows: 01-01234-2024PD

Collection per mail, parcel or courier service

You are welcome to send us shipping labels and other documents, which we will print and attach directly to your shipment. For this, please send us the label at least one day before the planned collection date via e-mail.

Collection per shipping company or forwarding agency

For the collection of heavy and bulky products, a truck with its own lifting platform or tail lift is required. This is necessary because Red Dot can’t provide a forklift to assist with the loading process.

Shipments to non-EU countries

Should your product be shipped to a country outside the European Union (EU), please send us all relevant documents for customs clearance. Especially a (proforma-) invoice which states the value and content of your shipment will be needed. We will print these documents and attach them to your shipment.
