Your products, awarded in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023, were exhibited with great success at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, and will be available for pickup from 23 September 2024. 

Please indicate in your My Red Dot account whether you would like to pick up your products or agree to disposition/donation by Wednesday, 18 September 2024.  

Organization of the pick-up: 
In your My Red Dot account you can indicate if you want to pick up your products.  

If you choose to have your products picked up, please arrange for a shipping company, parcel service, or other carrier of your choice to pick up the products within the specified time period.   

If you do not wish to pick up your products, please select "no pickup". In this case, your product will either be disposed of or donated by Red Dot free of charge. 

Quick Guide

  1. Login to your My Red Dot account   
     
  2. Indicate collection preference 
    Go to the "Logistics" menu and select “Pickup” or “no pickup”.  
    If you require information on quantity, dimensions, or weight, select "Request Data". The information will be provided within 48 hours in your My Red Dot account.      
     
  3. Arrange collection 
    Arrange for the collection to take place between 23 and 27 September. 
     
  4. Provide PI code as reference number
    Please provide the PI code to the person or company collecting the product. Collection will only be possible upon presentation of the PI code.
     
  5. Inform Red Dot Logistics and send shipping documents
    Please inform us of the collection day and send us the shipping documents that need to be attached to the shipment by Red Dot.

 

Pick-up of large packages, boxes and pallets

A vehicle with a lifting platform or tail lift is essential for picking up large volume or heavy products. There is no forklift available on site to assist in the loading process. Please inform your logistics service provider of the need for such a vehicle.

Special requirements for shipping outside of Europe

If your product is being shipped to a country outside the European Union (EU), please send us all relevant documents for customs clearance. In particular, a (proforma) invoice stating the value and contents of your shipment will be required. Additional documentation may be required depending on the specific characteristics of your product. If the value is 1000 Euro or more, please note that a formal customs declaration with a Master Reference Number (MRN) is required.

Please declare your shipment at customs by stating detailed information about the content and value of your shipment by using a proforma invoice.

For the proforma invoice, you can use this template to prepare your proforma invoice. Some couriers provide their own shipping documents. Please check beforehand if they will provide the documents or if you need to prepare them yourself.

Shipping liquids, powders, batteries or other dangerous goods

Please note that projects containing alcohol or other liquids, powders, or batteries may be considered dangerous goods in international shipping. We therefore ask you to send your packaging empty or, if necessary, with a suitable alternative filling.

Procedure in the event of failure to respond and collect

In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions, failure to provide feedback by 13 September 2024 and late collection is equivalent to consent to disposal/donation.
