From now until 24 April 2024, companies, design studios and young professionals can submit their design concepts and have them evaluated by an international jury of experts in order to win one of the coveted distinctions of the Red Dot Award: Design Concept.
New categories and a new prize
Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2024Launched in 2005, the design competition has developed into an international benchmark for design concepts and presents itself with exciting new features in 2024.
With a view to the participating companies, professional design studios and design agencies, new categories have been introduced for concepts that can be submitted in product design, brand and communication design or with a view to global megatrends.
In 2024, the Red Dot: Luminary will once again be awarded to a company, a professional design studio or a design agency as the competition's highest distinction for professional design concepts.
Students and young professionals under the age of 30 can look forward to a new prize - the Red Dot: Peter Zec Prize. The accolade from Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, is endowed with prize money totalling SGD$10,000.
