Venia Giota

Venia Giota studied Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean and later completed a master’s degree at Domus Academy in Milan. She began her professional career in the corporate design environment, gaining experience at multinational companies such as 3M and BIC, and later collaborating with established design studios and designers in Milan. In 2011, she moved to Beijing, where she worked as Creative Director for CBD Group and co-founded Pinvita, a designer-led home brand focused on everyday consumer products. In 2015, Venia relocated to Shanghai and founded her independent design studio, working on product and spatial design projects for international clients across different markets and production contexts. Since 2019, Venia Giota has been based in Greece, continuing to collaborate globally through her design practice. Alongside her professional work, she is pursuing doctoral research in AI and Design Thinking, exploring the relationship between design processes, creativity, and decision-making.
