100 Chinese Poems on Fortune Sticks
Draw lots, which have a long tradition in China, are the topic of this elaborately designed box aimed at illustrating their significance in a highly appealing manner. Furthermore, the cultural aspect of draw lots is also visualised and serves as a source of inspiration. Exactly 100 slips are in the box, each with a fortune-telling poem printed on it and attached to a stick for pulling it out. By creating a special feeling of anticipation and excitement, the box promotes the tradition-steeped culture of fortune telling and the sense of “good fortune” associated with it.
