17" PowerBook
The 17" PowerBook G4 features the largest display ever made for a portable, offering the same viewing areas as a 19" CRT monitor. Two full pages can be seen on the screen at one time and it supports a resolution of 1140 by 900 pixels, 1.3 million pixels appearing on the screen simultaneously. An unique feature is a fiber optic backlit keyboard with laser-etched keys. A light sensor automatically adjusts the keyboard and screen brightness based on the available ambient light. The 17" PowerBook G4 has a 1 GHz PowerPC G4 processor, new high-speed architecture, fast NVIDIA graphics and a slot-loading SuperDrive for playing and burning CDs and DVDs.
