AL1 Solid

The fully automated AL1 Solid linear lift for rear or side doors owes its specific design to the patented lifting arms made from aluminium profiles. Due to a construction that is accurate to the millimetre, the arms guarantee lasting and precise functionality. Despite a load-bearing capacity of 400 kg, the system is 25 per cent lighter than average lifts of its kind, which increases the vehicle’s payload. The lip plate at the transition between lift platform and vehicle interior and an automatic roll-off barrier offer wheelchair users absolute dependability. A transparent platform design provides excellent rear visibility while driving.

Statement by the Jury

Aluminium, a material commonly employed in the automotive industry, was also used to manufacture the AL1 Solid. This has resulted in its extraordinarily lightweight construction.
