The special feature of the Alpha Apex marimba is its newly developed frame construction. The height-adjustable frame is made up of three modules that make it easy to assemble and dismantle, especially for touring musicians. The low centre of gravity ensures stability during playing. The side pillars, which are visually integrated into the lines of the unit, are designed to reduce frame noise to a minimum. Alpha Apex is available in 12 colour combinations. The jury praised the improved functionality that comes with the new frame design as well as the elegant lines of the resonators and the possibility to personalise the instrument.
