“Dark, light, yellow, and soft in nature. Only the fragrance stays in the distance.”
—Partridge Sky · Osmanthus by Li Qing-Zhao The osmanthus is depicted in this poem as a flower that is not as eye-catching as other famous flowers, but is memorable for its unusual characteristics. The collection’s overall form and design echo the poem’s impression of the sweet-scented osmanthus. The texture of osmanthus was deconstructed to create prints and handmade fabrics, creating a collection that embodies the journey of self-discovery and becoming an extension of the osmanthus flower. The irregular gold leaves, in particular, represent an important and precious perspective on life — it is not perfect, but it is gleaming.
