The AOC PD49 is a curved 49 monitor that has ambitious gamers and discernings users working from home in mind and aims to establish the Porsche Design brand in this market segment. Its design is inspired by the cooling fins of the Porsche 911 whose performance is succinctly reflected by the surface structure of the back and the idiosyncratically shaped stand. “The monitor convinces with its iconic, expressive design as well as with its excellent hardware features,” the jury said, highly impressed. These features include 240 hertz image reproduction, wide viewing angle technology, two 8-watt stereo speakers with DTS sound and a 5 MP webcam.
