The front of the smartphone with LCD display and main user interface is protected by a durable aluminium frame. An integrated iris scanner prevents unauthorised access to personal information. The rear consists of a fibreglass-reinforced mixed resin case with soft edges for a handy, non-slip grip and easy handling. Moreover, the case contributes to torsion strength and heightens the reception quality of network signals.

Statement by the Jury

The interplay of synthetic resin and aluminium shown in the arrows NX F-01J is functionally sensible and also provides a special haptic appeal.
