Aura 10

The Aura 10 is an innovative PET/CT specimen scanner for use in the operating theatre. The scanner is mobile and enables doctors to immediately assess surgically removed tissue through high-precision imaging. The design transfers complex technology into a conceivably simple operating concept: a light ring on the user interface indicates to the surgeon where to place the specimen container in order to start the scanning process. A vertically positioned LED bar indicates the progress of the operation. The jury recognised the scanner “as a successful example in terms of user-oriented design. It offers all the features to be easily integrated into the operating theatre.”
