Benu FLOW

Benu FLOW is Christian Fischbacher’s new addition to the trademarked Benu PET collection. Now, for the first time ever it is possible to produce a flame retardant fabric whose yarn is made of recycled PET bottles. The bottles are collected, cleaned and pressed in Northern Italy. They are then shredded into flakes, mixed with flame retardant and spun into polyester yarn. This process gives the yarn its inherent flame resistance.

Statement by the Jury

The softly flowing voile Benu FLOW uses an innovative process to combine aesthetics and sustainability. Its properties make it particularly suitable for modern environments.
