Bicycle Folding Crank

This foldable bicycle crank has been designed to decrease the width of a bicycle. It is foldable so that the pedals do not protrude when the bicycle is not in use. The folding process can be completed in just seconds using one hand and without tools. By pressing a button and a slider, the crank can be folded, locked and fixed in place. Thanks to a double safety lock it cannot come loose when cycling.

Statement by the Jury

This bicycle crank allows users to fold in the pedals, so that they don’t obtrusively stick out when carrying the bicycle. In particular great importance has been placed on safe use of the crank.
