Bio Blocks

Bio Blocks is a biodesign project that uses organic waste like coffee grounds and eggshells to create durable and biodegradable modular construction pieces. This process not only offers a tactile experience but also encourages environmental responsibility and creative play. Bio Blocks, available as an all-inclusive kit, uses artisanal techniques and advanced 3D printing to produce functional pieces that can be assembled into diverse structures. This project was developed within the framework of the European project Cocoon. The project was developed at ISMAT — Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes, Portimão (Portugal).
