Branch
Like a tree branch, the spout of the basin mixer branches off the slender base, tilting downwards. The interplay of flat surfaces and rounded edges is finely tuned. When the tap is opened, the initial water temperature is cold to save energy and hot water. Slight rotational movements regulate both the water flow and the temperature, which is also visualised in a colour display.

Inspired by nature, the design idea has been convincingly translated into a purist language of form that is complemented by meaningful, sustainable functions.
