Despite its compact size, the Brane X delivers a soundscape that certainly rivals that of a surround sound system. Yet this portable Bluetooth speaker is extremely energy efficient as a result of its Repel-Attract Driver, a built-in woofer that uses stationary and moving magnets to neutralise internal air-pressure forces while at the same time producing deep bass. In addition, four multidirectional drivers are available for delivering an immersive sound experience. The jury called it a “pioneering technical achievement” that opens up exciting new possibilities in the field of driver technology.
