BREAK

Back Download

Break is produced using a combination of the two natural materials stone and wood. Frame and temples are attached via filigree milling, so that they can hold together stably when closed. The highly compressed wooden elements also allow turning the temples in any direction without causing damage. The temples are always brought back to their original form by a natural rubber band which is threaded through the hinge and holds frame and temples compactly together.

Statement by the Jury

The glasses gain merit by their non-metallic and screw-free hinge technology. The design in the natural materials of wood, stone and rubber is also exciting.
