Break helps people disconnect from work, recover through short and simple breaks, and embrace a more vibrant lifestyle. Break consists of a device designed for running or walking and an application that immerses users in the Break experience by transforming their phone into a completely new tool. Users are given virtual rewards when they perform physical quests, and these rewards can be used in exchange for real goods or merchants. The device has a unique wire structure that facilitates physical interaction, encouraging stretching exercises such as 'Y/T/A raises', which are intended to relieve rounded shoulders and text neck that are common among office workers. These stretches are categorised as a form of 'quest' prompts that are delivered via the on-device screen. In addition, the device's sensors monitor health status such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, calories burnt, and more. The more the user works with Break, the more rewards and health information they receive, which increases motivation to go outside and creates a positive cycle of wellness.
