Butterfly Heels

The Butterfly Heels are created using modern digital technology whereby customer-specific orthopaedic and ergonomic data are incorporated into the product. A five-axis CNC machine converts the design into high heels that are accurate down to the last millimetre. The upper and the heel of the shoes are interchangeable and can be individually combined. The heels are made of recycled, vertically layered wood veneer.

Statement by the Jury

This organically curved shoe leaves an edgy artistic expression. The progressive manufacturing method used enables a differentiated adaptation to the foot.
