Resealable Beverage Cans

CanReseal

CanReseal is a patented technology that makes cans resealable. The metal cap is screwed into the can for an airtight seal and is compatible with standard can body sizes and types. CanReseal does not change the design of manufacturers’ cans and can be integrated into existing production processes. A familiar packaging type is thus made resealable and provides an eco-friendly, completely recycleable alternative to plastic bottles.

Statement by the Jury

The option of producing beverage cans with the resealable CanReseal cap reduces plastic waste and follows an environmental approach. The construction impresses with its broad compatibility and advanced functionality.
