Catchbox 2.4 is a soft, wireless microphone designed for audiences. The device is covered with a soft cube-shaped cover and can thus be thrown back and forth between the various speakers. This promotes playful interaction and makes awkwardness and time-wasting obsolete. A special magnetic mechanism secures the technical components inside. In order to avoid unwanted noise when being thrown or dropped, the device continuously monitors each movement and switches the microphone on and off.
Statement by the Jury
A wireless microphone that people can throw to each another – adoption of this original and well-conceived design idea will break the ice in every discussion round.
