The book “Chinese Characters Big Bang” deals with Chinese characters and explores the question of how they can be converted into a digital form faster and more effectively than before. Its aim is to create new possibilities of producing a digital Chinese font using different calculation methods. The book stands out due to its elaborate cover design in black with golden embossing. It contains a mixture of full-page illustrations, pages with text only, and graphics. Its dominant colours are black and white; this bicolour look is interrupted by a few colour accents in red.
