Chinese Proverb
This series of 36 illustrations introduces a number of Chinese proverbs which have emerged throughout history. Typically, the proverbs express certain experiences or secular wisdoms in an evocative language, for instance “barking dogs don’t bite”. Along the same lines, the sayings have been turned into an imaginative and sophisticated visual language. The pictures clarify the sense of the proverbs and help to avoid misunderstandings in an entertaining way.
