Cocoon

The design of the Cocoon series pursued the objective of creating a glass with optimised sensory properties, tailored to wine-tasting requirements. The shape of the wine glasses was inspired by butterfly cocoons and features two functional areas. The shape of the lower cocoon allows the wine to aerate so the aromas develop quickly when the wine is gently swirled. The area above it preserves and concentrates the bouquet. The design is based on comprehensive feedback from sommeliers, winegrowers and consumers – interpreted and refined with the help of AI.

The Cocoon series presents a highly distinctive, convincing shape, which heightens sensory experiences during wine tastings.
