Cocoon Lamp

Cocoon Lamp is the result of research into the potential of the Barrisol material and its three-dimensionality and elasticity. Extruded aluminium has been used to form a frame that, in combination with a thin lamp membrane and organic light diode, creates a sculptural body. This creative design benefits from the lightness of the material and can be made as a pendant light, wall light or portable floor lamp. Its contours reference the shape of seed pods.

This lamp achieves an emotionally appealing aesthetic that results from the creative use of materials that can be flexibly shaped.
