Coincidate

In the humorous short film “Coincidate”, two strangers fall in love on a blind date. Superficially, it seems as if fate alone has brought them together, whereas in reality it is their mothers who remove obstacles both big and small from the couple’s way so that they manage to come together. Using photo-realistic rendering, the computer-generated images were processed to make them appear hand-drawn, which together with the lighting design, predominantly using warm, golden tones, underscores the romantic nature of the story. Rapid scene changes, an energetic soundtrack and visually arresting characters inject tempo and wit into the narrative.
