Conde de Amarante Count of Amarante

Back Download

Conde de Amarante (Count of Amarante) is a Portuguese brandy made in the town of Amarante. Its name pays homage to the count who defended the city from Napoleonic troops in 1809. Combining both typography and images in horizontal lines, the packaging design tells the count’s story and presents the product as a way to pay tribute to this local hero, while adjusting the tone to the target audience. The text design visualises different characters through a unique narrative structure.
