Crevice
Crevice is designed to harmonise with its surrounding terraced landscapes and bridge Shandong's traditions with contemporary architecture. Triangular forms evoke a metaphorical imagery of 'mountains beyond mountains', symbolising strength and serenity. A stream weaves through the museum, connecting exhibitions, performances, and communal spaces, guiding movements and dynamic interactions, and reflecting the local essence of time-suspended inner peace — the Crevice.
