Cross Velo MINI (CVM) is a sleek cycling solution that combines a contemporary urban look with an awareness of the history of cycling. The frame shape adopts the type of cross frame that was developed in the 19th century, and raised chainstays make it possible to use a belt drive. Despite the popularity of composite materials, the frame is made of shock-absorbing chromoly steel, with the combined properties of the structure and material providing high rigidity and low weight. This contrast together with the elegance of its appearance are crucial to the comfortable riding experience that this model offers.
Statement by the Jury
The design of the Cross Velo MINI (CVM), which is based on historical models, achieves a contemporary, original shape that harmonises perfectly with the sturdy and lightweight materials.
