CUSTO is an intelligent mailbox for suburban regions. Deliverers gain access via the barcode on the respective parcel – the large display gives them the necessary instructions. Other people can also have one-off or recurring access. This function can be controlled via the CUSTO app, which also summarises all information on orders and access in a list. The letter and parcel box is resistant to weather, wind and strong impacts. The battery life is at least six months, and a 5G connection is integrated. “A visually very attractive form with excellent application properties,” the jury found.
