Humble, used bicycle tyres are given a second lease of life by being collected and recycled rather than just ending up in the rubbish container. These tubes are slit and handcrafted into a woven structure. Neither chemicals nor surface-treatment products are used during the manufacturing process. The result is an extremely environmentally compatible product of recycling. The robust rug is suitable for use both indoors and outside.
