Da Vinci 5 is a robot-assisted system for minimally invasive surgical procedures that functionally improves precision, surgeon autonomy and ergonomics. New operating controllers, optimised motion control and innovative force feedback technology enable more sensitive surgery, as they make it possible to measure and feel the force exerted on the tissue during an operation. The platform, with significantly increased computing power, improves processes in the operating theatre and offers the technical prerequisites for future functions such as AI-supported assistance systems.
