The Daikin Emura III air conditioner, consisting of a wall-mounted unit and an air-to-air heat pump as an outdoor unit, can be used to heat and cool indoor spaces. The wall-mounted unit is available in three monochrome colours and displays an unmistakeable design with its gently curved housing. The front tilts slightly forward during operation, adding an emotional component to this process. The remote control features the same well-balanced design, so that it visually harmonises excellently with the wall unit and also fits well in the hand. The outdoor unit is equipped with a newly designed grille that makes the rotating fan less visible and gives rise to a calm design language.
Statement by the Jury
With its soft lines, the highly functional Daikin Emura III air conditioner is a visual highlight and appears less like a technical device. The functionally designed outdoor unit is also well suited to its purpose.
