Over the past fifty years, Danbury has developed advanced optical systems for space and defence missions, contributing to programmes such as the NASA Hubble Space Telescope. In 2020, the company separated from Raytheon Technologies to become a stand-alone business. The relaunched branding is based on the notion of foresight. Inspiration was drawn from the movement of travelling light, adopting visual cues from space and defence. To excite burgeoning engineers, the new look also hints at Danbury’s remarkable past.
