Das Erste’s 2018 Christmas ad campaign showed emotional and humorous “Snapshots of Christmas”, reminding viewers what Christmas Eve should be all about: love and the joy of togetherness. This message is conveyed with four short stories from different perspectives, which were integrated in the channel’s Christmas programming as idents. From Santa Clauses on a coffee break to families preparing for the festivities, the films capture contemplative, funny and original Christmas moments and portray a modern and nuanced picture of the feast day.
