Deep in Venice

The design of this cinema took its inspiration from Venice, the romantic city of lagoons, built on water and the home of one of the oldest film festivals in the world. In contrast to traditional cinemas, the walls are not decorated with film posters or digital preview screens, thus allowing visitors to get a break from the flood of information to which they are exposed every day. Instead, an immersive environment calms them with an interplay of light and shadows. Walls resembling cliffs and curtains on which falling water is projected give visitors the impression of being under a waterfall and literally plunging into another world.
