Desire

Many women hide their innermost desires, such as the need for food and sexual satisfaction, from the outside world for fear of being judged. They try to live up to traditional images and do not shy away from, for example, deliberately vomiting in order to keep their figure. This animated film wants to show that women are indoctrinated by social norms and illustrate their helplessness with regard to their needs and desires. With images in black and white, which almost appear hand drawn and are complemented by red highlights, the film aims at raising awareness on this topic in an emphatic manner.
