The primordial cell and its division as the origin of life have served as the allegorised inspiration for the entrance building of the Dinosaur Theme Park in Kleinwelka, Germany. Lending identity to the MITOSEUM, its architecture has been modelled on the six phases of mitosis, the biological concept of cell division and evolution. Due to the heights and volumes of the structures, these “cells” in their various stages are already visible from a long distance. The structure and colour of the translucent shells, made of ETFE foil, symbolise nature and life.
