The interaction between man and machine was the focus of the design of this horizontal order picker. The ECE 225 offers greater driving safety due to reflectors and daytime running lights as well as a spacious operator workplace with various ergonomic options and newly designed controls. New drives, electronic controls and innovative battery concepts furthermore assure very high productivity and energy efficiency. Due to the use of recyclable steel and unblended plastics, the vehicle is long-lasting and sustainable.

Statement by the Jury

The ECE 225 combines an ergonomic operator workplace with elements which provide more safety and is also characterised by energy efficiency and long life.
