This ident introduces the new environmental news programme ECO News of the Greek television channel Skai. In order to highlight the programme’s ecological focus, the clip provides an informative and historically correct account of the battle between nature and civilisation. It is divided into four periods: the creation of the world, ecological development, environmental overload due to civilization, and the awakening of ecological awareness. The story is supported with images that resemble the layout of a television station as well as with explanatory graphics and text overlays.
